Silvia Rodriguez-Sama is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Colorado Boulder, specializing in Andean archaeology. Her research investigates prehistoric architecture and societal development, particularly at Chavín de Huántar, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Perú. She pioneered methods like 3D digital mapping and radiocarbon dating of architectural mortar, transforming our understanding of Andean prehistory. Her work is funded by the National Science Foundation, National Geographic, and Stanford University.
