Prof. Dr. Silvia Negri holds the SNSF-funded professorship at the History Department of the University of Zurich, where she leads the project Humility in theory and practice. Historical approaches across cultures (1250-1500) (2024-2029). Her work spans medieval cultural history, historical anthropology, gender studies, and manuscript transmission, with a focus on humility as an embodied and situated value.
