Silvia Consalvi is an Associate Professor in Clinical Pathology (MED/05) at the Departmental Faculty of Medicine, Saint Camillus International University of Health Sciences – UniCamillus in Rome. She holds a PhD from the University of Rome Tor Vergata (2013) and has conducted research at IRCCS Fondazione Santa Lucia (Rome, Italy) and Sanford-Burnham-Prebys Medical Discovery Institute (San Diego, USA).
- Research Focus: Muscular dystrophies, particularly Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, with emphasis on diagnostic tool development and pharmacological therapies.
- Expertise: Epigenetic pharmacology, regenerative medicine, and clinical pathology.
She has authored numerous publications in top-tier journals and received grants/research awards. Her teaching roles include contributions to Medicine and Surgery, Nursing, Biomedical Laboratory Techniques, Obstetrics, and Dentistry programs at UniCamillus.
