Sílvia Benedito is a registered landscape architect and lecturer at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, teaching graduate design studios and seminars since 2011. Her work focuses on vulnerable territories impacted by climatic degradation, integrating micro-climatic simulations and bioclimatic strategies through collaborations with communities, governments, and NGOs.

Her research explores atmospheric design across ecological and urban scales, emphasizing thermal delight and energy optimization. Recent publications address climate resilience, public space, and thermodynamic interactions in landscapes. Atmosphere Anatomies (2021) and Thermodynamic Interactions (2016) highlight her interdisciplinary approach.
