Dr. Silvanio Reis is an Adjunct Professor at Temple University's Boyer College of Music and Dance, specializing in Keyboard Studies. He teaches piano at both the collegiate level (Boyer College) and community level (Temple Music Prep), including courses like Beginning Piano for Busy Adults, Suzuki instruction, and traditional piano lessons.
Dr. Reis holds the following degrees:

- DMA in piano performance, Temple University
- MM in piano performance, University of Akron
- MM in piano performance and piano pedagogy, Temple University
- BM in piano performance, Instituto de Música e Artes de Penápolis, Brazil
His research and pedagogical focus spans piano performance techniques, Suzuki methodology, early music repertoire, and the Taubman Approach. He is a registered Suzuki instructor with the Suzuki Association of the Americas and specializes in biomechanical piano techniques.
He serves as faculty and executive administrator for the Taubman Seminar at Temple University and has taught at international events like the II Encontro Internacional de Pianistas in Brazil.
