Rachel Acuff is an Adjunct Professor in the Division of Fine Arts at Maryville College, specializing in piano and oboe instruction. She also serves as a long-time faculty member at the Suzuki Piano School of Knoxville.

Her research and teaching interests include music education, collaborative piano, and Suzuki method pedagogy. Over twenty of her students have won state-level awards, with four representing Tennessee in MTNA Regional Southern Division Competitions.
She has mentored students who performed as concerto soloists with community/youth orchestras and participated in master classes at Suzuki Association of the Americas national conferences.
