Allison Keep is an Assistant Professor of Music at Hope College in Holland, Michigan, where she teaches piano and aural skills. She is also a private piano instructor for pre-college students and an active performer, educator, and administrator with a focus on piano pedagogy and collaborative music.

Her research and professional interests center on piano pedagogy, intervallic reading approaches, and the integration of technical development with theoretical understanding. She advocates for the transformative role of music in society and emphasizes nurturing curiosity and lifelong musical engagement in her teaching.
Allison actively contributes to the piano teaching community through administrative roles, conference presentations, and writing. She serves as Secretary of the PianoArts North American Competition board and Teacher Education Chair for the Michigan Music Teachers Association. Previously, she co-chaired the New Professionals Committee at the National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy and initiated the Teacher Education Webinar Series for the Frances Clark Center.
