Hyunjin Lim is a Lecturer of Piano at Eastern Michigan University (EMU), where she has taught since Fall 2011 as an adjunct lecturer. She is also a pianist for the Concordia University Choir. Her academic journey includes a Doctorate of Musical Arts (DMA) from Michigan State University, a Master of Arts (MA) in Piano Pedagogy from EMU, a Master of Music (MM) in Piano Performance from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Music (BM) in Piano Performance from Ewha Womans University in Seoul, Korea.

Dr. Lim’s expertise spans piano performance, music pedagogy, and historical keyboard instruments such as organ and harpsichord. She has studied under prominent figures like Logan Skelton, Marilyn Mason, and Edward Parmentier, and has served as a graduate assistant at both the University of Michigan and Michigan State University.
Hyunjin Lim has demonstrated excellence through her award as a winner of the EMU Graduate Competition and as a recipient of the Michigan State University Music Department Scholarship. Her career includes soloist performances at Ewha Womans University and teaching applied piano courses.
