Sijia Guo is a Lecturer in Chinese Studies at the Department of International Studies, Macquarie University. She holds a PhD in Computer-assisted language learning from Macquarie University (2012), an M.A. in Curriculum and Teaching Methodology from Beijing Language and Culture University (2010), and a B.Sc. in Biology from Capital Normal University (2007). Her research focuses on Task-based Language Teaching, Online Chinese education, and the use of captioned videos in language acquisition. She has taught at institutions including Princeton in Beijing, Tsinghua University, and Macquarie University.

Teaching
