Shudong Wang

Professor Shudong Wang is Head of Drug Discovery and Development at the University of South Australia's Clinical & Health Sciences unit. With a PhD earned in 1998, she has over 25 years of experience in oncology drug development, including prior leadership roles at Cyclacel Pharmaceuticals and the University of Nottingham. Her research focuses on kinase inhibitor therapeutics for cancer treatment.

Research interests center on:

• Cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors for hematological malignancies and solid tumors
• TAM kinase-targeted cancer immunotherapy
• FLT3 inhibitors for acute myeloid leukemia
• Translational drug development from target validation to clinical trials
