Shu-Wen Tzeng is a Professor in the School of Industrial and Graphic Design at Auburn University, part of the College of Architecture, Design and Construction (CADC). She joined the university in 2008 and was promoted to full Professor in Fall 2023. Her research focuses on Product Design, Human Factors, Ergonomics, User Interface, and Interaction Design. Tzeng holds a Master of Industrial Design from Auburn University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan.
She is actively involved in academic initiatives, including expanding the School's Study Abroad Program to Japan and organizing the annual Kaleidoscope: Auburn Design Show, which showcases student creativity. Tzeng is a member of the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) and has contributed to fostering collaborative design education through her teaching and administrative roles.
