Dr Shu Jiang is a Lecturer in Sociocultural Music Studies at the School of Languages, Arts and Societies, University of Sheffield, since August 2023. She concurrently teaches at the University of Nottingham. A scholar and practitioner of Chinese zithers (zheng/qin) and piano, she holds a BA in Musicology from Shanghai Conservatory of Music and MA/PhD in Ethnomusicology from the University of Sheffield.
