Shinya Suto is a Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Waseda University, with a research focus on Theoretical Sociology, Sociology of Knowledge, and Sociology of Tourism. He earned a Master of Sociology from the University of Tsukuba (1999) and a bachelor's degree in Sociology there (1993).
