Sheryl Parke is a Clinical Lecturer in Clinical Psychology at Norwich Medical School, University of East Anglia, and a Clinical Psychologist at Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust. She holds a Doctor of Clinical Psychology from the University of East Anglia (2021). Her research focuses on neurorehabilitation, mental health care, and evidence-based interventions, particularly addressing barriers in healthcare professional practice and patient recovery expectations. She actively collaborates with national networks like the National Network for Psychologists working in Specialist Neurorehabilitation.
Her research interests span clinical psychology, neurological rehabilitation, pediatric mental health, and patient-centered care innovation. Recent work explores music interventions for brain injury recovery, systemic barriers in implementing mental health care, and mapping NHS neurorehabilitation services. Notably, her 2025 review on family dynamics in brain injury recovery highlights interdisciplinary collaboration needs.
Parke’s publications reflect a focus on translating research into clinical practice, with contributions to both peer-reviewed journals and international conference presentations. She is involved in public engagement initiatives to shape intervention design and has been a BRAVE mentor since 2022.
