Sherryl Broverman is a Professor of the Practice of Biology and Global Health at Duke University. She focuses on creating HIV/AIDS curricula with Egerton University in Kenya and developing international research service learning in the sciences.

- Active in global health projects, particularly in Kenya
Her research explores how civic issues, international connections, and social engagement influence science education for non-majors, and how course design affects student demographics in science courses. Her recent publications analyze dietary patterns in Kenyan children, HIV risk beliefs in adolescents, and hygiene-related immunity challenges during the pandemic.
