Sheramy D. Bundrick is a Professor of Art History at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg (USFSP), where she has taught since 2001. Her research focuses on ancient Greek art, particularly Athenian pottery and its cultural consumption by the Etruscans. She holds a Ph.D., M.A., and B.A. in Art History from Emory University.
Notable honors include the Outstanding Faculty Member award (USF System, 2013) and a Rome Prize Fellowship (American Academy in Rome, 2013–14). Her scholarly works include *Music and Image in Classical Athens* (Cambridge, 2005) and numerous articles in journals such as *Hesperia* and the *American Journal of Archaeology*. She has also authored a historical novel, *Sunflowers: A Novel of Vincent Van Gogh* (2009).
Her research explores themes like Greek-Etruscan cultural exchange, iconography on Athenian vases, and ancient religious practices. Key projects include analyzing divination imagery and trade networks through pottery artifacts.
Fellowships have been awarded by The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Samuel H. Kress Foundation, and the Fulbright Foundation. Her work bridges academic scholarship with public engagement, reflecting a commitment to interdisciplinary approaches in art history.
