Dr. Shelly Goldklank is an Associate Professor Emeritus of Psychology at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University. She serves as Director of the Psychodynamic Track in Clinical Psychology. Her expertise spans family and couples therapy, psychoanalysis, and nonverbal behavior. Dr. Goldklank is a Founding Member and Program Chair of Section 8 of Division 39 of the APA, and Founding Director of the Couples and Family Training and Education Program at the William Alanson White Institute for Psychoanalysis.
Education: PhD in Clinical Psychology, Adelphi University (1982).
Research & Teaching: Focuses on family systems theory, couples therapy, and psychodynamic approaches. Recent courses include Advanced Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Couples Therapy, and Family Couple Therapy. She has held supervisory roles at the White Institute and contributes to training programs in clinical psychology.
