Shaun McVeigh is a Professor at Melbourne Law School, University of Melbourne. He previously taught at Griffith University (Australia) and Keele/Middlesex Universities (UK). His research spans jurisprudence, legal ethics, and critical colonial studies, with current projects on 'lawful existence' in the Global South and Australia's colonial legal heritage.
Leadership roles include Director of Teaching and Director of Graduate Research. Teaches Legal Theory and Indigenous-settler agreements. Affiliated with the Institute for International Law and the Humanities.
