Sharon Wrobel

Sharon Wrobel is an Associate Professor and Department Chair at the University of Memphis, where she joined in 2010. She previously held positions at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Georgia Southern University, and Western Illinois University. Her expertise spans human resources management, public policy, education policy, research methods, policy analysis, and program evaluation.

• Teaching: Courses include PADM 7601 (Research Methods), PADM 7661 (Contemporary Perspectives in Public Administration), and PADM 6401 (Comparative Public Administration).
• Research: Focuses on education policy, equity in finance, program evaluation, and policy analysis. Her work appears in journals like Public Performance & Management Review and Public Administration Review.

Her evaluation projects include collaborations with the Texas Schools Project, Illinois Institute of Rural Affairs, Little Rock School District, and UAMS Head Start/Early Head Start. She also serves as a consultant for public and nonprofit agencies, specializing in assessment, evaluation, and board development.
