Mary Wuestewald

Dr. Mary Wuestewald is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. She earned her Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from the University of Arkansas - Little Rock in 2022.

• Education: Ph.D. in Criminal Justice (University of Arkansas - Little Rock, 2022).

Her research focuses on police officer well-being, the intersection of media/politics with the criminal justice system, criminal psychology, and societal violence. She has published in Police Practice and Research and the Journal of Criminal Justice and Popular Culture, and serves as a reviewer for several prominent journals including Policing and Society and Public Administration Review.
