Sharon Kahan is a Lecturer at Western University's Don Wright Faculty of Music, specializing in flute performance and pedagogy. A native of Regina, Saskatchewan, she previously served as a faculty member at the Regina Conservatory of Music and principal flutist of its Chamber Orchestra. She earned her Master of Music in Literature and Performance from the University of Western Ontario (now Western University) and studied with renowned artists such as Jeanne Baxtresser (New York Philharmonic) and Timothy Hutchins (Montreal Symphony Orchestra).
