Shannon O'Connor, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Toledo, affiliated with the College of Arts and Letters. Her research investigates the interplay of genetic and environmental risk factors for disordered eating, including food insecurity, parental/peer influences, and developmental moderators like puberty. She leads the BeFed Lab, focusing on eating behavior epidemiology and prevention.
