Shannon Conway is an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of North Texas Dallas College of Law, where she teaches Torts, Advanced Torts, Consumer Law, and Insurance Law. She earned her law degree from the Catholic University Columbus School of Law in 1999, completing the Evening Program while working full-time as a legal professional.

Professor Conway’s research and practice focus on legal disciplines including torts, consumer law, insurance coverage, and securities litigation. Her background in litigation and pro bono work enriches her academic expertise, particularly in applied legal strategies and community-oriented legal education.
Prior to her current role, she served as a Professor of Practice at UNT Dallas College of Law, teaching Bar Strategies courses to prepare students for legal licensure exams. She previously practiced law at Patton Boggs LLP in Washington, D.C., and Dallas, specializing in insurance coverage litigation and complex securities litigation, and co-founded Franklin Scott Conway LLP to represent corporate policyholders and plaintiffs in consumer cases.
