Shannon Cochran

Shannon Cochran is a Senior Instructor in the Department of English Language and Literature at the University of South Carolina's McCausland College of Arts and Sciences. Her work focuses on public communication pedagogy and early medieval British literature, with a strong emphasis on bridging online and traditional face-to-face teaching methods.

Current Projects involve transitioning to online public communication pedagogy and co-chairing the 2018-19 USC Speech Competition Planning Committee to enhance students' public speaking opportunities beyond the classroom.
