Shane Rogers is a Professor in the Civil & Environmental Engineering department at Clarkson University, affiliated with the Coulter School of Engineering & Applied Sciences. He is also associated with the Institute for a Sustainable Environment, Institute for STEM Education, and Beacon Institute for Rivers & Estuaries. His work bridges environmental biotechnology, microbial risk assessment, and sustainable water systems.

Research Interests: Shane investigates microbial and chemical stressors in air, water, and soil, with a focus on pathogen detection, antibiotic resistance, and wastewater nutrient bioextraction. His innovations include plasma reactors for food sterilization, anaerobic digesters for small farms, and bioaerosol dispersion modeling.
