Doug Bohl

Dr. Doug Bohl is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Clarkson University and currently serves as the Associate Dean for Academic Programs within the Coulter School of Engineering & Applied Sciences. He holds a B.S. from the University of Connecticut (1992), M.S. and Ph.D. from Michigan State University (1996, 2002). His research focuses on fluid dynamics, optical diagnostics (e.g., Molecular Tagging Velocimetry), dynamic stall phenomena, plasma-liquid interfaces for water treatment, and bio-inspired engineering solutions like humpback whale flipper-inspired airfoils.
