Shalini Saggu is an Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Georgia, affiliated with the Department of Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine. She holds a Ph.D. in Toxicology (2007) and an MS in Toxicology (2003) from Jamia Hamdard, and a BS in Chemistry (2001) from the University of Delhi.

Her research focuses on neurotoxicology, Alzheimer's disease mechanisms, and environmental health impacts, particularly exploring how neurotoxicants, hormonal therapies, and plant-derived compounds affect neurodegenerative processes. She has contributed to understanding oxidative stress, neuroinflammation, and synaptic dysfunction in Alzheimer's.
