Shahd Alghoriby is a Lecturer at Taif University's School of Health Sciences and a PhD candidate at the University of Dundee. She holds a Master's in Nursing from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle and is registered with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialities. Her current research focuses on qualitative analysis of pain assessment in children with intellectual disabilities, supervised by Prof. Tim Croudace and Dr. Susan Buell.

Her teaching role at Taif University involves mentoring future nursing professionals, blending clinical expertise with educational outreach.
