Sezen Çakmak is a Researcher at the Department of Teaching and Learning in a Migration Society at Technical University of Berlin (since 2023). She holds an MA in Gender, Intersectionality, and Politics (Free University Berlin, 2023) and a BA in Political Science (Free University Berlin, 2020). Supported by the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation's 'Lux Like Scholarship,' her work focuses on intersectional approaches to education, migration, and social inequality.

She co-organized symposia on migration and inequality in aging populations. Since 2020, she has led democracy-focused workshops in Berlin schools through the 'Student Budget' project.
