معرفی
Sergiy Neshveyev is a Professor at the Mathematics Institute of the University of Oslo. His research spans operator algebras, quantum groups, noncommutative geometry, and mathematical physics, with a focus on C*-algebras, quantum symmetries, and dynamical systems.
- Research Trends: His recent work explores crystallization of C*-algebras, cocycle twisting in quantum groups, isotropy ideals in groupoid algebras, and non-Hausdorff etale groupoids. These studies intersect quantum group theory, noncommutative geometry, and representation theory.
- Grants: Currently leads the Mathematics for Quantum Computing and Many-Body Theory (QOMBINE) project.
- Teaching: Has taught advanced courses in C*-algebras, representation theory, manifolds, and quantum computing at the University of Oslo since 2005.
- Collaborations: Regularly collaborates with researchers like Marcelo Laca, Lars Tuset, and Erik Habbestad.
