Sergei Chernyshenko

Sergei Chernyshenko is a Professor of Aerodynamics in the Department of Aeronautics at Imperial College London, Faculty of Engineering. His long-term research focuses on fundamental challenges in fluid mechanics including turbulence theory, scale interaction, drag reduction, and high-Reynolds-number asymptotics of separated flows. He has made significant contributions to applying polynomial Sum-of-Squares optimization in fluid dynamics and developing the Flow Illustrator educational tool.
