Senja Andrejevic is a Lecturer at the University of Gloucestershire, specializing in creative writing and contemporary theatre. She holds a PhD in Creative Writing (2024) and a Master’s Degree in Creative and Critical Writing (2016) from the same institution.
Research Interests: Her research focuses on migrations, displacement, identity, and the political potential of contemporary theatre. These themes are deeply embedded in her creative works, including plays and prose exploring sociocultural dynamics and personal narratives.
Teaching: She teaches undergraduate modules such as Dramatic Writing Fundamentals, Advanced Dramatic Writing, and Contemporary Dramatic Writing. Additional courses include Research & Enquiry and The Writing Business and the Professional Writer, which prepare students for industry engagement.
Publications: Her works have been featured in The Lampeter Review, The Wrong Quarterly, Scrutiny Journal, and other literary platforms. Her play 'HALF' received Arts Council England funding and premiered at the Stroud Theatre Festival in 2019.
