Dr. Senait Kebede is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Emory University's Hubert Department of Global Health, with over 25 years of experience in global health. She serves as a consultant for Emory Global Health Institute's Decolonizing Global Health Partnership and actively contributes to teaching, advising, and curriculum development, including collaborations with Africa CDC/Emory. Her work focuses on infectious diseases, maternal and child health, and surveillance, supported by affiliations with WHO, UNICEF, and other global organizations.
Education: MD and Pediatrics specialty from Addis Ababa University, MPH from Johns Hopkins University.
Research Interests: Combines clinical pediatric expertise with public health policy, emphasizing equity in global health programs.
