Drew Voetsch is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at Emory University, where he teaches and mentors students. He also serves as an epidemiologist and Team Lead for the General Population Surveillance Team in the Division of Global HIV & TB at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). His work focuses on Population-based HIV Impact Assessments (PHIA) in PEPFAR countries.

Research Interests: Adolescent and child health, global health surveillance, HIV/AIDS prevention strategies, and infectious disease epidemiology. His career spans roles in foodborne disease surveillance, HIV clinical/behavioral studies, and leadership at CDC Botswana.
Labs/Teams: Leads CDC's General Population Surveillance Team, overseeing PHIA surveys in 19 countries. Previously managed the Special Studies and Diagnostics Team and CDC Botswana's Strategic Information Team.
