Selena Anders is an Associate Teaching Professor at the University of Notre Dame School of Architecture and Academic Director of the Rome Studies Program. She co-directs the Historic Urban Environments (HUE/ND) research team and serves as Associate Director of the DHARMA Lab, focusing on 3D documentation of World Heritage Sites.

Her research spans architectural history, historic preservation, and digital documentation, with projects in Italy (Roman Forum) and India (Mughal tombs). She explores the works of Giuseppe Valadier during the Napoleonic era, linking architectural theory to imperial urban visions.
Publications highlight interdisciplinary approaches to heritage studies, including analyses of Mughal tombs' morphology and the architectural capriccio genre. She organizes summer programs in China, emphasizing traditional urbanism and design.
