Selcuk Can

Dr. Selcuk Can is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Portsmouth, where he also earned his PhD. Previously, he served as a Lecturer at the same institution. He holds an MBA from the University of Wolverhampton (UK) and a BA in Public Finance from Ankara University (Türkiye). He serves as the PhD Programme Lead for the Agile Centre for Equitable Sustainability and as an External Examiner for the MSc International Business Management (Marketing) at Royal Holloway, University of London. His research focuses on online marketing communications, branding, sustainability in marketing, and experimental research design. His work aligns with UN SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and has been published in top-tier journals like the Journal of Advertising and Tourism Management.
