Dino Domic is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the Department of Management and Marketing, European University Cyprus (since 2007). He holds a PhD (2004), MBA (1998), and BA (1996) in Business-related fields from the University of Wolverhampton. His research focuses on post-war heritage consumption, gender studies, inter-ethnic relationships, and brand identity. He has published extensively on topics such as Croatian national identity formation, Greek-Cypriot marriage dynamics, and university branding strategies.
Key research areas include:
- Heritage tourism and post-conflict societies
- Gender roles in Mediterranean cultures
- Consumer behavior in politically charged environments
- University brand management
His recent work (2022) explores how visualization courses impact university brand perception among freshmen. Earlier studies (2001–2009) focused on Croatia’s post-war cultural identity reconstruction through heritage consumption. His 2012 studies analyze gender norms around marriage in Cyprus and Eastern Europe.
He serves on editorial boards for journals like Academy of Marketing Review and North America Higher Education International. Awards include a full PhD bursary from Wolverhampton.
