Sebastian Eichfelder

Sebastian Eichfelder is a Professor at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg and a Research Affiliate at the Leibniz Institute for Economic Research Halle (IWH), where he has been affiliated since October 2013. Since March 2025, he continues his research as a Research Affiliate at IWH.

Research Interests: His work focuses on tax theory, particularly analyzing the impact of taxation on investment, wages, and corporate productivity. Additional research areas include tax planning, real estate taxation, bureaucracy costs, and the complexity of the tax system.
