Scott Silbereis

Scott Silbereis is a Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), affiliated with the Faculty of Business and Law (FBL - Law). His teaching focuses on professional practice skills, including the Law Clinic, Legal Skills, ADR, Mediation, Advocacy, Negotiation, and Pro Bono work.

• Professional Background: 11 years in commercial litigation and dispute resolution as a solicitor before transitioning to academia

His research centers on legal pedagogy, particularly the application of constructive alignment and authentic assessment to develop professional skills through technology. He also explores the intersection of law, dispute resolution, and emerging technologies, including their psychological and sociological impacts.
