Dr. Scott James is a Reader in Political Economy at King's College London, with a focus on EU policy, financial regulation, and Brexit's political economy. He holds a PhD from the University of Manchester and has held roles including Deputy Head of Department. His research explores banking governance, Brexit implications for the City of London, and the role of lobbying in policy-making. He has led major grants, including an ESRC project on the City of London's policy influence post-financial crisis. Awards include the ESRC Future Research Leaders’ Scheme Award.
