Scott Hunt is an Adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Drawing at the New York Academy of Art. A graduate of Parsons School of Design with a BFA, Hunt is a fine artist specializing in charcoal and pastel works on paper that blend narrative and allegorical elements. His work has been exhibited internationally, including seven solo shows across the U.S. and Europe, and featured at VOLTA Basel and SPRING BREAK New York.
His practice has been recognized with awards such as the 2017 FID Prize for Drawing, a NYFA Fellowship, and a Pollock-Krasner Foundation grant. Hunt’s drawings are part of permanent collections at The Israel Museum, Jerusalem, The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, Los Angeles, and Colecção Madeira Corporate Services Drawing Collection in Portugal.
