Scott Gwozdz serves as a Lecturer at the Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado Boulder, affiliated with the Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Operations department and the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship. With over 20 years of professional business experience across multiple industries, he has been teaching at Leeds since 2009, bringing practical expertise to his academic role.

Scott specializes in consumer research and business strategy development, drawing from his extensive professional background to bridge academic concepts with real-world applications. His teaching focuses on understanding consumer behavior and developing sound business strategy, particularly through his developed course 'Values and the Power of the Consumer' which examines how consumer values influence purchasing decisions. His industry experience spans Financial Services, Non-Profit Sector, Marketing Agencies, Natural Foods industry, and Tech Start-up environments, providing students with diverse perspectives on business challenges.
As an educator, Scott has taught BCOR 1010 (Introduction to Business) for more than 10 semesters and provides specialized academic support for varsity athletes in business subjects. His professional work complements his teaching through First Person Marketing, his consultancy firm established in 2003 that serves both Colorado-based organizations and Fortune 1000 companies.
