David Prinster is a Lecturer in the Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Operations department at the Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado Boulder, where he is affiliated with the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship.
He joined the faculty in 2013 after first becoming involved with Leeds School of Business in 2009 as a mentor for students and guest panel judge for class competitions. Dr. Prinster teaches the capstone course for the Business Minor Certificate program, bringing extensive real-world business experience to the classroom.
His research interests focus on practical applications of business strategy and entrepreneurship, with particular emphasis on how information technology intersects with business development. His work bridges academic theory with real-world business applications, especially in sales and marketing contexts where he spent most of his career.
Dr. Prinster is actively involved with the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship, supporting initiatives that foster entrepreneurial thinking among students. He also volunteers with organizations like Junior Achievement and Ignite Adaptive Sports, combining his passion for teaching with community engagement.
As a Colorado native born in Grand Junction and currently residing in Boulder, he brings local perspective to his teaching while drawing on his global educational background that includes an MBA from London Business School.
