Dr. Scott Bartell is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Emory University's Gangarosa Department of Environmental Health within the Rollins School of Public Health. He concurrently holds professorships in Public Health and Statistics at the University of California, Irvine. His research focuses on Maternal and Child Health, Risk Assessment, Statistical Modeling, and Air Pollution Epidemiology.
- Education: PhD in Epidemiology (UC Davis, 2003), MS in Statistics (UC Davis, 2001), MS in Environmental Health (UW, 1996), BA in Environmental Sciences (UC Berkeley, 1994)
He actively engages with organizations such as the Society for Risk Analysis, International Biometric Society, and served on the Sacramento Statistical Association Council (2002–2003). Previously, he contributed to the U.S. DOE Beryllium Health Risk Communication Task Force (1997–2001).
