Scott Bartell

Scott Bartell is a Professor at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), holding a joint appointment in the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health (Program in Public Health) and the Department of Statistics at the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences. His research focuses on environmental epidemiology, statistical methods for exposure assessment, and the health impacts of chemical contaminants such as PFAS, DDE, and air pollutants. He leads studies on metabolic dysfunction, pediatric and adolescent health outcomes, and environmental justice issues.
