Scott A. Lindroth is a Professor of Music at Duke University’s Department of Music within the Trinity College of Arts & Sciences. He has held academic roles since 1990, including Vice Provost for the Arts (2007–2018), Chair of the Music Department (2003–2009), and Bass Fellow. His research focuses on music composition, theory, and interdisciplinary areas like music and neuroscience. Notable works include the piano trio *T120* (2021) and the Quintet for Soprano Saxophone and String Quartet (2019). Lindroth is a recipient of prestigious awards such as the Guggenheim Fellowship and Rome Prize.
