Scorpio K Rogers serves as Vice President of Community Relations and Government Affairs at Mercy University, overseeing collaborative opportunities with community partners, business leaders, and government officials. He concurrently holds the academic rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Business within the School of Business. His teaching focuses on Entrepreneurship, including courses like Social Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial Marketing, and New Venture Development. His research examines the impact of Black entrepreneurs with formal entrepreneurship degrees on their communities.
Scorpio has taught Entrepreneurship and related subjects for nearly two decades, extending beyond Mercy University to include non-credit seminars and high school NFTE (Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship) curricula.
