Martin Schwarz is an Assistant Professor of Old Art History at the Department of Art History, Faculty of Humanities, University of Basel, Switzerland. He specializes in European art and architecture of the 12th–14th centuries, medieval book art, urban planning in the Middle Ages, and the cultural history of scholasticism, with technical expertise in 3D modeling and photogrammetry.
