Stefano Riccioni is an Associate Professor of Medieval Art History at the University Ca' Foscari of Venice and an associate researcher (chercheur associé) at CNRS, UMR 5594 - ARTeHIS (CEM Auxerre and University of Dijon). He is currently a Visiting Scholar at the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz (Max Planck Society), where he engages in international interdisciplinary research collaborations.

His work bridges art theory, cultural heritage conservation, and museum studies, particularly in Venice, the Adriatic, and Subcaucasus regions.
