Dr. Gaier Martin is a Lecturer at the Department of Art History within the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Basel. Specializing in Venetian Renaissance and Baroque art, photohistory, and 19th-century German-Italian cultural exchange, he has maintained academic affiliations in Basel since 2003.
